Here is a brief history of why we need Jesus Christ in our lives:
1. Chaos
In the beginning our Creator- Yahweh or you may know Him as Almighty God- spoke and created everything.
2. Creation (In the Garden of Eden)
And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good.
(Genesis 1:31 ESV)
(Genesis 1:31 ESV)
3. Righteusness & Perfection
Everything is created righteous & good…
So on this spectrum think of righteousness as being a "Gamma Ray"

4. Satan enters the picture
Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the LORD God had made.
(Genesis 3:1 ESV)
The serpent enticed Adam & Eve to sin. They disobeyed the Lord's command and so there were consequences. Sin now takes away from all that was perfect.

5. Banished from Eden because of sin
Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned. (Romans 5:12 ESV)
The land was no longer perfect, we no longer had Eden.
The land was no longer perfect, we no longer had Eden.
6. What happened to righteusness?
As it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God."
(Romans 3:10-11 ESV)
Even in a large crowd of people there is no one who is righteous; everyone is under the power of sin. Because of sin man can no longer get close to the Lord because sin is opposite of righteousness.
(Romans 3:10-11 ESV)

7. The Old Testament
The Lord tries to get close with man again by making a system of sacrifices for sin so that a blood sacrifice can substitute for sin. Each sin required a blood sacrifice, but now it was possible to have your sins forgiven.
8. Not a perfect system though
—“What to me is the multitude of your sacrifices?" says the LORD; "I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of well-fed beasts; I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of goats.”
(Isaiah 1:11 ESV)
People lost sight of the fact that the sacrifice was symbolic of a change in your heart. People were sinning and sacrificing but not truly believing in what the sacrifice symbolized- a clean heart.
(Isaiah 1:11 ESV)
People lost sight of the fact that the sacrifice was symbolic of a change in your heart. People were sinning and sacrificing but not truly believing in what the sacrifice symbolized- a clean heart.
9. The perfect system comes to earth
And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit. (Matthew 27:50 ESV)
Jesus came to earth and was offered up as the perfect sacrifice for sin. Jesus was sacrificed one time on the cross for all men so that the old system of a blood sacrifice for each sin was now obsolete. Jesus doesn't need to be sacrificed continually- He died one time for all sins.

10. Have you asked Jesus to be your Savior from your sins?
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9 ESV)
